DUNGEDDON

DUNGEDDON is Armageddon in a Dungeon, a simple horizontal shoot 'em up for LynxJam 2023.

Armed with your sacred bow and a miraculously infinite supply of holy arrows, you must fight against the advancing Hordes from  Hell for as long as you can.

Move with the d-pad and fire with either the A or B buttons. You can auto-fire by holding a button down. You have 3 lives in total.

The game is split into 2 minute rounds which culminate with a boss fight. When you complete a round your fire power automatically increases.

On the title screen, pressing either OPTION button will change the starting round. When you see the red demon you will start at round 0, the pumpkin-head round 3.

At any time you can press the PAUSE button to pause the game. When paused, if you press and hold OPTION 1 it will abort the game and go back to the title screen. If you press OPTION 2 it will toggle flip mode.

THANKS: I used the game template provided by Igor. That coupled with the Lynx support in cc65 and sprpck by 42bs meant I really only needed to understand the SCB format in order to make a Lynx game.
